in these pages, you will read the process of the fire: burning its way through the paper. the process of burning affects each page differently. through this exploration, we are privileged to see the various patterns written as a story that you can read from both directions. there is an everchanging-ness of the pattern and process: if i would repeat this burning process in the exact same manner, it would still have slightly different outcomes of shapes.
