the sensation and experience of making your own clay from the ground is very enriching. the ground asked me to have a conversation with it. through the clay from within, i translated those properties of the clay by embracing, for instance,  time. time is visible in a different way in dry clay than in clay that is soaked wet. i embrace this drying process and thus convey clay for what it is.
