due to the damage to the plates, they were meant to be thrown out. to fully embrace and translate the quality of one single zinc plate, i needed to print both sides. deciding that the printing had to be done in one go allowed me to exclude judgement and allow whatever outcome that occur to occur. . it happened at that moment due to the fact that i allowed chance and randomness to take charge. this allowed me to express that which  was already present within the material.
